Davin wonders

if life is

a noun or a verb.

A gift or a run,

a curse or a wrestling match.

Earnestly he seeks

the answer to this question,

not knowing

that it is the same question

that Hamlet asks, and  Oedipus,

and all of the tragic heroes

who have made it to fame.

Davin searches

for his answer

and will find it

when he writes

his life.

To have or to live

either wayy, the answer may lie in

The Macarena

If a fellow can do the Macarena in public, in his pajamas,

then he CLEARLY already knows

the answer to this and all questions.
