As the words on the page,

spell mystery and adventure,

so does the mind of Daniel.

As a fantasy sword swiftly

cuts across imaginary dimensions,

so does the mind of Daniel.

As the illustrations in a favorite book

amuse and capture the reader,

so does the mind of Daniel.

FROZEN WATER-by Daniel

An intricate pattern,

of frozen water,

falls to the earth.

Behind him comes another.

Suddenly, the particles

fall by the tens,

multiplying to become 

hundreds and then

thousands.

It's in the middle of the night and

the wind picks up.

There's a blizzard.

The next morning is a 

Saturday

and the blanket of white stuffon the ground

doesn't look undisturbed

any longer.
